8. Bultaco Brinco
From Spanish motorcycle maker Bultaco, meet the Brinco, an E-Bike with a real motorcycle spirit. Referred to by Bultaco as the world’s first moto-bike, the Brinco’s sharp angled frame design turns heads wherever it goes. Brinco’s electric drive consists of an aggressive rear-wheel mounted 2 KW motor and a 1.3 KW lithium-ion battery. Three riding modes govern power output, but sport mode unleashes a full 2,000 W for close to 30 miles at 37 mph with no pedalling. A 9-speed transmission overdrive feature basically doubles the gearing from 9 to 18.
The Brinco’s all-aluminium frame rides on 24 inch wheels with fat 3.5 inch tires made to eat up ground or grip pavement. It performs amazingly on the street, but the Brinco was created for wild off-road rides most E-Bikes just couldn’t handle.
