Have you ever wondered what would happen if you added a big powerful motor to a downhill bike? German brand Rotwild obviously did as it’s now the recipe for their new RG+FS E-Bike available this year. It’s a full on downhill bike with 8 inches of suspension and a World Cup worthy spec sheet.
The real story, though, begins once you peek beneath the belly of this metal beast. Sandwiched between the cranks is a motor that pushes out colossal 19 foot pounds of torque. Suddenly, a day of downhilling doesn’t require an uplift, and with a motor-boost like that riding will become a whole lot easier – and more extreme, too!
